Kashyyyk is the wookie homeworld. I actually prefer to finish Kashyyyk first, as it saves me a lot of running around on Tatooine; not to mention, there's never any reason to return here unless you are doing the Genoharadan quests .

Czerka Landing Port

  1. Ebon Hawk. If you have already completed Tatooine, (and didn't kill your krayt-dragon-killing-ally), you will meed Komad Fortuna right after leaving the ship. I'm not sure this leads to anything.
  2. Exit to Great Walkway
  3. Eli Gand and Matton Dasol. Eli is a merchant and Matton is currently serving a debt to Eli. Seems Matton's friends ran off and left him owing a large sum to Eli. Eli is "employing" his services as a mechanic in payment of the debt.
  4. Czerka office. You can buy weapons here.

Great Walkway

This is an extremely irritating area. Besides being very long, you can't transit back to Ebon Hawk. Meaning you'll be hoofing it over this area a few times while dealing with respawning kinraths and mykals.

  1. Exit to landing port. You'll be attacked by forest kinraths (spider-type creatures) as you leave the landing port.
  2. A small group of guards has just put a wookie "down". Let Zaalbar express to them his displeasure. Nearby is a damaged sentry droid. Repair it and send it on patrol to help keep the kinrath population down.
  3. Exit to Village of Rwookrrorro
  4. Lift down to Shadowlands. You have to go to Rwookrrorro first and get permission from Chuundar to go to the Shadowlands.
  5. There are some locked storage bins here. A passcard taken off the patrol captain at (B) used in the console will unlock the bins. Or you can slice the computer to unlock the bins (takes a fairly large number of spikes if your skill is low). It might also be possible to open the locks on the boxes directly, but none of the characters I tried (including Mission and T3-M4 both with max Security skill) have ever been able to open them.
  6. The first time through this point, you will be ambushed by three dark Jedi.

Rwookrrorro

When you first attempt to enter here, you will be taken to an audience with the new chieftan, Chuundar--Zaalbar's runt brother. He will take Zaalbar prisoner (whether he is in your party or not) and tell you the only way to free him is to kill an insane wookie running about the Shadowlands. Since the Shadowlands is where you want to go, agree to do this. The village is a "safe" spot, and you can transit in and out of here at need.

  1. Exit to Great Walkway
  2. Chieftan's Hall
  3. Home of Woorwill. Woorwill is looking for Rorworr, who has gone missing.
  4. Holder of the Laws

Upper Shadowlands

The Upper Shadowlands are teeming with large beasts called katarn as well as kinraths. Just watch your step.

  1. Lift up to Great Walkway. If Kashyyyk is your first stop (i.e. you haven't recovered any other Star Maps yet) you will meet Calo Nord and a couple of wookie cronies when you first step off the lift. This is a bit of a frustrating fight because you can't buff up before coming down the lift (the journey takes so long, all your shields/stims wear off). If you have collected at least two Star Maps, you'll encounter Darth Bandon down here; and he is a significantly tougher fight. Your best bet for both of them is trying to freeze them in place with adhesive grenades and then have all party members lob damaging grenades for a couple of rounds to take their health down a bit. Then close in and finish them off.
  2. You'll meet Jolee Bindo after he has dispatched four katarn single-handedly. He'll then order you to follow him to his camp before he will tell you anything else.
  3. You'll find a wookie corpse that is the dear, departed Rorworr. Apparently, Rorworr was engaged in selling fellow wookies to the slavers. Won't that make Woorwill happy! Also alongside the body is a bowcaster bolt casing that will help identify Rorworr's killer. Take these items to the Holder of the Laws in Rwookrrorro and he'll identify the casing as belonging to Jaarak, Woorwill's friend. Jaarak wants to sacrifice himself rather than let Woorwill know Rorworr was dealing with slavers. It's up to you whether you let him do that.
  4. Jolee's camp. Jolee will help you reach the Star Map, but first you have to remove some poachers from the area. Jolee prefers they not be killed.
  5. The poacher's camp. The non-violent solution is to persuade at least two sentries to shut down their sonic emitters. Once they are shut down, a beastie will chase the poachers away. Of course, there is always the violent solution as well. After they are gone, loot their supplies for tach glands, which you can give to Griff on Tatooine to complete the Mission's Brother quest.
  6. You'll find the remains of a broken droid here. It will let you know Matton's companions did not desert him, they were bushwhacked by Eli. **IMPORTANT** You must return to the landing port and deal with this now or forever hold your peace. Well, actually, if you follow the dark path in dealing with Chuundar, you'll still be able to finish this quest later. But, you may not know which way you're going to go at this point, so head on back up, walk the Walkway and let Matton deal with Eli. You might want to head over to the village, deal with Rorworr's death and then transit back to the port to take care of Eli.
  7. If you're performing the Genoharadan assassinations, you'll find Rulan here.

Lower Shadowlands

  1. Exit to Upper Shadowlands
  2. Grrrwahrr (yes, that's spelled correctly) is fighting for his life against three Mandalorians. If you choose to heal him, he'll tell you of his troubles and ask for vengeance. Plus you get Light Side points. Dark Side points if you tell him to bugger off.
  3. Bodies of Grrrwahrr's hunting party. Approach these areas, power up (shields/stims) and then un-equip your weapons. Mandalorian raiders will de-stealth (or un-stealth, or...eh, whatever) and attack you. Once you have killed both parties, you should find a datapad on one that will allow you to complete the final portion of this quest.
  4. Swoop bikes. Use the datapad found on one of the other Madalorians to re-activate the homing signal on the one working bike, then get ready to rumble with the big guy. Afterwards, return to Grrrwahrr to receive your reward.
  5. Ritual marker. As you enter this cul-de-sac, you'll encounter some viper kinraths that actually leave behind a body. Collect one body and enter this area. Buff up. Read the ritual stone then "use" a vine to attach a viper kinrath corpse. Wait for terentatek to appear. Have fun...(force powers are almost useless against them; although, Jolee once managed to put it in stasis). Collect a broken sword blade and a journal from the 'tatek's steaming husk.
  6. Star Map. There's a working computer attached to this one, and it wants to know if you match the requirements of those allowed to see the map. Giving appropriate dark side answers will help you pass the test (and earn Dark Side points). Answering incorrectly will force you to fight some assault droids. After defeating them, the system will let you see the map. If Kashyyyk is your last Star Map, all the preceeding nonsense doesn't happen. The computer gives you the Star Map by default.
  7. Freyyr, Zaalbar and Chunndar's father, is the "insane" wookie Chuundar wants killed. The dark path is to kill Freyyr and return the sword of Bacca to Chuundar to legitimize his chiefhood. The light path is to help Freyyr out and return to the lift to the Walkway; events will move you right along to the point of all "outsiders" (with the exception of your wonderful self) being thrown off Kashyyyk.
