History

The Handmaiden is an Echani fighter that joins the party of the Jedi Exile after leaving the Jedi Academy on Telos, but only if the main character is male. She and her sisters attend to the Jedi Master Atris, which is why they are all called "handmaidens."

The offspring of Echani parents are typically identical in appearance; however, the Handmaiden looks different from her sisters because she has a different mother. Her mother was a Jedi Knight who fought in the Mandalorian Wars. Once the Exile spars with her three times and learns of her heritage from Kreia, she lets him train her to be a Jedi like her mother, thus betraying Atris and her half-sisters.

After the Exile defeats her previous mistress Atris, who had fallen in the dark side, the handmaiden's name is revealed to be Brianna. Brianna is one of the two romanceable NPCs in the game along with the former Nihilus student – Visas Marr.

After the events in SW:KOTORII Brianna reforms the Jedi Order from the Academy on Telos.

When using unarmed attacks against any opponent, she deals an extra 1-4 damage and has a 10% chance of knocking down the opponent if they fail a Fortitude Save of DC = 15 + attacker's level. This damage stacks with any Unarmed Specialist bonus damage.


Echani Strike II
Prerequisites: Handmaiden, Level 11
Echani Strike I

When using unarmed attacks against any opponent, she deals an extra 2-8 damage and has a 15% chance of knocking down the opponent if they fail a Fortitude Save of DC = 15 + attacker's level. This damage stacks with any Unarmed Specialist bonus damage.

Prerequisites: Handmaiden, Level 17

When using unarmed attacks against any opponent, she deals an extra 3-12 damage and has a 20% chance of knocking down the opponent if they fail a Fortitude Save of DC = 15 + attacker's level. This damage stacks with any Unarmed Specialist bonus damage.
