Re: Mr. Obama
hey Jest, you may want to have a talk with Drake as well. sometimes he drops some slight profanity on here, not a lot, but you may want to let him know what the rules are about that.

Okay, I will have a talk with him about the rules since he is a new member and dose not know about the site rules yet.
cool. yeah, that's just one of those things you have to explain to people. i think he'll honor it.
I sent him a PM and I believe that he will follow the rules.
I got a PM from a member who felt that you are not following the rules and I came to check it out and even tho you clam that it is not a cuss word he was still offened by it. The member will stay nameless and as a MOD I take my appointed postion very important to keep members on here and things like that could scare off members. I will take the 10% warning off soon but only when I believe that you will follow all the site rules.

again... a few things...
1. i don't claim anything. don't put words in my mouth.
2. society has determined and still dictates that "bastard" is not a profane word. if you find where it does let me know and i will be publicly humiliated. i doubt you will though.
3. keep the "warning" on if you want. i don't care either way. it serves as my battle scar, be it won or lost.
If you look it up in the dictionary, well, he's right... besides if the forums don't block it I wouldn't say it's profanity. Ass isn't blocked because in the dictionary it simply means a donkey. Usually *real* cuss words and such are blocked. I won't overlook your authority though Jester. You can do what you think is right.
You can do what you think is right.

even if what he thinks is right is really wrong? look how far we've come...
ROFL
Zeph, those are halarious!

Starr, the forum filter only cuts the "F" bomb, no other words. and i wasn't the one that sent that PM, but I agree with whoever did. profanities and vulgarities should be avoided, especially after someone has already been warned
well i learned about something today. OUR nation relies on money too much. money isn't everything. There is too much insurance for everything. "oh your insurance doesn't cover this so we can't help your wounded body so well you might as well die." we need to be like Canada and have like free health insurance or w/e haha. i'm just sick and tired of our nation. i could care less about politics right now.
the thing is..we arent even voting for a person. we are voting for the two parties. we should focus on one person. it's ridiculous

Zeph, you're greatest enemy on here is yourself. If you keep acting like you do, things will get ugly again. We have a mutual agreement on here not to use profanities or other questionable words like the one you used. However, using that word was not an isolated incident; you used "damn" in another post, which I can find if you want to make an issue out of it. You know the rules, and you are responsible for following them yourself. If you don't, there are consequences.

the big problem that Canada and those nations have with their "free" health care is that no one has the right to choose their doctor. A government agent decides that. The same with whether or not a person gets treated, or for how long, or if they can get prescription drugs. Then there are the waiting lines for treatment of diseases, also dictated by government officials. Actually, Americans are much healthier and better cared for than the neighboring Canadians and people living in the UK and other nations with nationalized health care.
good point. but still. we need to cut off on some things. money is becoming a monster now! like i know it is important and what not. but it doesnt get you anywhere in life. just gives you desires and wants.
One huge thing we could do for healthcare costs is to find a way to cut out some of the law suits. there are some cases where this is necessary, but sometimes it's pretty rediculous.
everything is ridiculous now.

On behalf of Canadians everywhere, I have one thing to say to this: The f**k are you talking about?
I know I said I was leaving this place already, but this post just BEGS a reply. The sheer ignorance of this entire post is mind boggling. Like, ludicrously so. I need to like, go lie down now.
The fact of the matter is, we here in Canada CAN in fact choose our own doctor, not a "government agent". The DOCTOR that the citizen CHOOSES decides what treatment you require, or whether you need prescription drugs - NOT a "government agent".
A perfect example of the right-wing idiocy and ignorance that has forced me to move on from this place after merely a week. Disgusting.
I have friends in Canada, thank you.
That's nice. Your point? I've lived in Canada my entire life. I've chosen my own doctor my entire life, with the obvious exception of when I was a child - at which point my PARENTS were the ones who chose my doctor for me, NOT the government. I have NEVER had a medical professional appointed to me by the government.
