We're due to get a few of them shipped in in about a week. I hear it's completely awesome. Makes up what H3 lacked. What you guys think?

Starting to see the commercials on TV, and the game does looks pretty cool... also, if Jester says it rocks, then it must be.
I've played Age of Empires, so I might know how it feels.

Halo 3 does not lack anything, nor can you compare the two when they are different types of games.
Halo Wars is good, albeit a bit cartoonish for a Halo game.
I still prefer Halo 3.

I think TDLOTS2 is talking about the videos. The game is pretty much just like all the other Halos only obviously it's a SG not a FPS. The videos are um... the same as the stuff they used for Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (look it up and you'll see what I'm talking about)... I guess what TDLOTS2 calls cartoonish but in fact what I think are some kick ass grahics. HW is pretty awesome on its own but the videos you get to watch along the way are the icing on the cake and boy what good damn icing! I'd play the game just for them... I mean BEYOND awesome.

I'm sure you can look up and watch every single video that's unlockable for HW but then you'd just plain out ruin the gaming experience I believe. A few of them were released to the public way before the game was but none of us thought they'd be ingame if you catch my flow. You can probably see the pre-game released ones (they are in fact ingame also though) and all the other ones at halowars.com if you want too.
