I was reading some stuff on the internet about her, and apparently her use of a double blade lightsaber was supposed to point to her eventual fall to the darkside. It's a weapon that mostly Sith and dark Jedi use, and was invented by Sith Lord Exar Kun (did i get that right?  :blink:  ). You'll notice in the flash backs in the game that she uses a single blade on Revan's flagship, then changed to a double blade after that encounter. Apparently this was supposed to show both her skill and her arrogance in using a weapon favored by the Sith. What do ya'll think of that?

I think Bastila wanted to become stronger and more powerful, deep down in her heart.
She could've thought that she were the only one to contain the powers of dark and light side.

Her story was so different from Atris. With Atris, she got so close to the darkside and studied it to the point that she fell. With Bastila, she always knew it was wrong but she had a terrible facination with it. She never really messed with it until she was captured by Malak, but I think the fact that she talked about it so much points to the fact that she was intrigued by it.
