True. cause you can pack a lot more in a book. Look at some of Charles Dickens' books. There's no way to include everything in a film, it'd be 18 hours long!

well as a girl, i thought the movie was quite good 
but the books were ultimately better in the end

Agreed.
Have any of you both read the book Three Musketeers and seen the Disney film? Disney totally demolished the story. It's not even close after the duel at the beginning.

I mean, the movie was funny, but you can't watch it and then say you know the story of the Three Musketeers, cause it's not what Dumas wrote in the book at all.

I'd like to know how close the HBO series John Adams is to history. i started watching that after gettin the DVDs, and it's a really good series. but it depicts men like Ben Franklin in an interesting light, not what we would normally think of those men acting like.
