I enjoyed that film, but it really didn't have that great of a story. But the surfer was a really cool character. I hope they do a Good film on just him one day

it was better than the first one. it just wasn't "great" like the Spider man films or some other classic movies. kind of a fluff film

It's one of those movies that you can watch once then put it on the shelf for a long time before watching it again. "Gladiator" on the other hand is a film that I watch on a regular basis, haha

Russell Crow owned that role. I've seen a lot of other historic action/war films, even by that director (like Kingdom of Heaven), but this one is tops B)

There are 2 reasons that the heroe dies in the movies. The first reason is to sper the soldiers on to victory for their fallen leader and the second reason is because they did not die in the battle/war in history but in the movie they did. For example William Wallas from Brave Heart, He did not die the way they showed in the movie because he lived long after the war and died as a old man.
