I'm one of these 'older' members you guys are/were talking about. My name was Drizzt at BS, I joined there just after TDLOTS, and left just after N******s joined, before the site died. BS was a good site before people stuffed it up.
Anyway, the Jedi Council at BS was a good idea. It only turned bad last time because people started factions. If that doesn't happen here, the Jedi Council would be good.
It also turned bad because two of the mods became inactive.
Many a time I tried to get you onto the Council, Onions. lol. Never worked.
Sorry for the closing of this topic, but:
On BS, before your time, we tried a Jedi Counsel, and a Sith Counsel, and it kinda, in a way, led to the destruction of BS, so I don't think that will probably happen again. But that is just what I think. What actually happens, you would have to talk to Revan.
Problem solved. 
A jedi council will never work because people who are on the council would be fighting for the main seat of power. But the more that I think about it that could be fun for the dark side it see the light side fight each other.
