Well it depended on what type of game it was. Let's take a football game for example:

Guys: For every touchdown the girls score they take off one piece of clothing such as shoes, socks, hats, etc.
Girls: For every touchdown the guys score they take off one piece of clothing such as shoes, socks, hats, etc.

The game ends when one side has all their players left with only thier undergarments on... football never went further than that.

Games that took longer periods of time and had to be played out till the end had the winnings per game, not per round or score, and could have more in the pot.
