Topic: Please Help

i just got kotor2 today.at first i had trouble installing.then it installed.i make a character watch the beginning.then when it gets to the part where you actually play it says kotor2 has encountered a problem and needs to close.im on i relatives computer.i know it has windows xp and direct xp.please help.im 11.
