how come darth vader tries to kill luke all the time.its his son for crying out loud.and when in a new hope why did he torture his daughter lea?

He doesnt torture lea because he doesnt know that he had twins, he thought he only had a boy, and he didnt try killing luke, once he found out that luke was son, his attackes went down.

Really no one knew that Luke and Lea was Darth Vader's children in the New Hope until Luke finds out in the Empire Strikes Back when Darth Vader cut's off Luke's hand and Darth Vader drops the bomb ( Luke, I am your father). When Mr. Lucas wrote a New Hope he did not write that Darth Vader was Luke's and Lea's father until he finished writting the Empire Strikes Back and even up to the very moment when they were filming the movie everybody thought that the line that Darth Vader was going to say was ( I killed your father) but at the last moment Mr. Lucas gave the new line to George Earl Jones that was the voice of Darth Vader that said that famous line (Luke, I am your father). What messed a lot of people up on that is when they made the new movies of 1,2,3. I hope that this clears everything up for everybody and Darth Ray I agree with my Master on you really need to start typing and spelling better.
