Re: Dsf Revan

So, it's right of Idaho, north of Colorado, so if I'm correct, Montana should be above you?

Sorry, British kids aren't taught American states

Re: Dsf Revan

huzzah! My mom is american, Chicago Illinois. She's lived here for 20 years though, so her accent is a mix of American and English, so people think she's Canadian lol

There's a very long story as to why I'm half-Croatian when my mom is born in America. It's an interesting story, but I'll let you decide whether you want to read it or not.

Re: Dsf Revan

I don't know how much you know about Croatian history, but after World War II, Croatia had a big problem. They didn't know whether to go with the socialist leader, or join the Communist leader Josip Broz Tito. My grandfather joined the Communists in 1949 and rose to be a big general. He was going to be stationed in Belgrade, when Tito stole his land. My grandfather then got cross and fired a gun (in protest). Tito then put him in prison for 7 years, and he was released in 1957. For the next two years he was with my grandmother and the communists were in power. They were constantly trying to find a way to throw him back in prison, so he needed to escape. On a rowing boat with my grandmother, he tried to row across to Italy, when a wind blew him all the way back to Croatia. After that, he was too tired to keep going, when they noticed a ship. He was worried that it was the Communists coming to get him. Luckily, it was Italian fishermen. They took him to Italy. At this point he spent a year there, and then they told him he had to leave, but he didn't want to go to Croatia again, so America offered for him to go there. So they went to America, then my mom was born. They then stayed in America until 1990 when they thought it was safe to move back... then Croatia declared war on Serbia. My grandfather died in 1995 due to a heart attack, and my grandmother is still alive living in Zadar in Croatia.

On my Dad's side, they are all English. The only interesting thing there is my grandfather (as I've already told you) is a physicist. During WWII, he helped the Americans and British invent the radar. He dealed with a lot of dangerous radiation, and then he died in 1992 of radiation poisoning.

That's my family history.

Yeap...  B)

Attack on ground where your enemy believes you will not, from an unexpected direction at an unexpected time. Defend where your enemy believes you are not, and when he believes you will run. Surprise is the key to victory, and speed is the key to surprise. For the soldier, speed is life.

Re: Dsf Revan

Actually... Why did Tito stole your Granfathers land? Was he against Tito?

Re: Dsf Revan

Well, I don't know. I don't know whether it was Tito himself who took it. Maybe it was some superior commander. It was taken by somebody, and my grandfather didn't like it

I said Tito because I was told it was him, but you know, that could have been just an unfair generalization.

Re: Dsf Revan

Maybe. Tito would only do that if someone was against him. He was sending prisoners to a place called "Goli Otok". It was a island prison. I think.
