After the Star Forge the game is over besides to little movie things (I think they're called cut-scenes :unsure: ). You can't go anywhere else.

Yeah... free mode. Going around from planet to planet. Just helping out anyone you see who needs help.
And maybe small objectives. Like in True Crime NY. You have your objectives but on some missions you can chill, drive around listen to your police scanner, see if there's any action and you can respond if you want too.
Something like that after the SF in KotOR. I don't know if it would work in II.

S/he didn't leave until a year later. That's 365 days. A lot of good (or bad) can be done in that amount of time. And so can a lot of gameplay.
