Re: The Witcher III: Wild Hunt

I can deal without party members (though I do love a bit of party banter), but in Reckoning there's so much running around with little other than random fights between quests. And even the characters you meet rarely give you much reason to care. (This might be why I have yet to finish the game, as of yet I'm only in area 3/5.)

Basically I just wanted to check that in Witcher you get enough interaction to feel involved.
Though, with no party members I'd hopefully be able to avoid the constant setting them on fire I had in Origins because they kept walking in front of my mage. Yes, Alistair, I'm looking at you.

Re: The Witcher III: Wild Hunt

I had the same problem in Origins too.

What is the max level you can reach in Witchers?

Re: The Witcher III: Wild Hunt

I think for Witcher 1 and 2 was level 35 and in Witcher 3 is level 50.

And in Witcher 3 you get more than enough interaction to be emotionally involved in a story. I even cried during one scene.

Here in Witcher 3 you have a horse to give you problems. Don't worry about that big_smile

Re: The Witcher III: Wild Hunt

Witcher 3 kinda sounds like another game I played called Two Worlds.

Re: The Witcher III: Wild Hunt

Not even close. Except for being and RPG and having only one playable character they have almost nothing in common.
But I have played Two Worlds II and it's a decent enough game.

Re: The Witcher III: Wild Hunt

Two Worlds II have too many bugs in the game for me to finish and the first Two Worlds has a horse that you can use but I never used it because it was faster to walk then try to ride the horse.

Re: The Witcher III: Wild Hunt

I don't remember Two Worlds II being buggy, but it has been some time since I played it.
The first part was boring to me.

But anyway I would recommend that you at least play the second game (the first one has a boring combat system but a little better story than the second) And the third one blows away both games in all compartments.

Just in case anyone else was considering getting Witcher 1 & 2 before playing the third, Steam sale means they're currently going for about £3 together.
(I don't know what the rules on advertising are here, but I figured this was worth a mention, sorry if I broke any rules)

Re: The Witcher III: Wild Hunt

That's good to know Lilitia and thanks for sharing it.

George, I agree with the first past of the game being boring and they should have left that part out of the game.
