The Hundred-Year Darkness
According to Star Wars Expanded Universe fiction, the Sith Order, or cult, was first established when dissident Jedi came to believe that "true" power was achieved not through pensive meditation, as taught by their Jedi Masters, but through emotion. The tension between the Jedi and these dissident Dark Jedi grew until conflict erupted, seven thousand years before the Battle of Yavin. This conflict, called the Hundred-Year Darkness, the Second Great Schism of the Jedi Order, led to the Dark Jedi being banished by the Old Republic. These outcasts found a new home on the distant planet of Korriban, a desolate world inhabited by the relatively primitive Sith people. However, the Force flowed strongly with the Sith, allowing them to create their own brand of black magic. The Dark Jedi saw this as an opportunity to gain additional power. Using their training in the Force, the Dark Jedi amazed the Sith and elevated themselves to god-like status on Korriban, becoming the rulers of the Sith people. As years passed, and interbreeding occurred between the Dark Jedi and the Sith, the term "Sith" came to mean not the original near-human inhabitants of Korriban, but their Dark Jedi masters as well. It is from this rise to power and integration into Sith culture that the term Dark Lord of the Sith was first conceived as a title bestowed upon the leader of the Sith Empire by a council of lesser Sith Lords.

ok its is called thought bomb only i even tho i can use it i never have because of its destructive power here is some info from wikipdea about it sorry its a little long
it destroys all thought sensitive beings within a certain radius. Not even single-celled organisms survive. The only known thought bomb was activated by Lord Kaan in the catastrophic Battle of Ruusan. Mysteriously, a Sith Lord named Darth Bane escaped. The method which he used is still unknown. Lord Kaan killed himself and all the other Sith and Jedi on Ruusan. Bane never revealed his secret of how to escape a thought bomb; the secret died with him.
However, in the video game Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, it is theorised that Darth Nihilus used a technique equivalent to a thought bomb to destroy a planet's worth of life in the same way. However, it is also said that Darth Nihilus purged the planet of all life by consuming all of its Force energies (an ancient Sith technique). Kreia knew this power could not be retaught, so upon Darth Nihilus' death, this ancient technique supposedly died with him. Although during the course of the game, if the Exile follows the path of the dark side, each Jedi he defeats results in him "absorbing" their Force energy. Kreia refers to this as "an old Sith technique", suggesting that Kaan's technique was an variant focused on pure destruction rather than augmentation of the wielder.

their is little history on it i was toaught this by master but he never told me where he leanred it is Deadly Sight - This power of the Dark Side is capable of allowing Sith Lords to inflict damage upon enemies merely with their sight. With this power, the user can damage entire groups within their field of vision.

(disputed) - According to Darth Sidious in Episode III, Darth Plagueis the Wise had "such a mastery of the Force he could create life itself." He could also use this power to sustain his own biological life from the ravages of aging. There is no dispute that Sidious claims this as a Sith Lord power (requiring sufficient wisdom and mastery); the dispute is whether Sidious was speaking truthfully that his master, Darth Plagueis, actually possessed this power, or whether Sidious lied in order to seduce Anakin to the Dark Side. If Darth Plagueis did have this power, many EU sources have suggested he created Anakin in this fashion in the womb of Shmi Skywalker, and that Sidious was aware of Anakin's conception. This would explain how Anakin could have been born of a virgin, how Anakin had the highest midichlorian count ever recorded, and how and why Sidious/Palpatine took an interest in the boy the moment they met. While Sidious admits he does not have this power (and it is hard to imagine that Sidious would kill his master without first learning the secret), the extreme longevity of Sidious, far surpassing all normal humans, may very well be the result of at least partial mastery of this power. If this ability does exist, as some Expanded Universe material implies, it is the only Sith Lord ability and Dark Side power that is arguably "good", and can result in positive consequences, as it can be used to keep "those [the Sith Lord] cared about" from dying (if indeed a Sith Lord is capable of caring for anyone). If this power is real, it is ironic that the Dark Side of the Force, so often used to take life, can be used to both create life and sustain it. According to Sidious, Darth Plagueis was the only Sith Lord with the wisdom and knowledge and mastery and power to actually master this ability.
