John was in bed asleep when his wife woke him up and told him he hed left the garage light on. John slowly got up and walked towards the garage, but through the window he saw two men in dark clothes.

He went to the phone and dialed 911. When he had stated that he thought it was a burglary the woman replied,

"All units are temporarily busy, but we'll have one there in about ten minutes."

John waited for about ten seconds and called again.

"Hi, it's me again. I just called you ten seconds ago about two burglars in my garage. Well, you don't have to worry about them anymore, I just shot 'em."

Within a minute two police cars, an ambulance, and a swat team pulled up in front of his house and caught the burglars red-handed.

A cop came up to him and said, "I thought you said you shot 'em!"

John calmly replied, "And I thought you said alll units were busy."
