Some things never completely leave us. Just take things as they come and hopefully they'll get a little bit better every day.
I will say there is a longing, but for the most part it’s just annoying.
It is what it is, and it's rarely what we want it to be. Don't be too harsh on yourself.
So how’s life over that way?
Bit of a blur most days. 
I'm currently telling what day it is by whether I'm at work or what I'm doing hobby wise.
Other than the incident, how's things your way?

Lost a grandfather last month.
Oh no. 
I don't really know what to say other than I hope he had a good life, and I'm sorry to hear that.
In a fun addition, lost an uncle last week.
Oh no. Hope you're doing okay, or at least as okay as you can be.
Moving through as well as I can do. Hope things are going well for you?
Caught COVID, since recovered. Had some time off work that disappeared too fast. So can't really complain.
Hopefully things get a bit better day by day at your end.
2022 is hitting hard.

That's good to hear. I'm mostly good too, though could do with a few more hours in a day. XD
Or another day in the week, preferably a weekend day. Lol
