Bane, I love Bane. I think as a character and a dark side force user, he was brilliant. He realized the flaws with sith thinking and reformed them. I wouldn't say a perfect version of the force. But a perfect sith. He went about it all the right ways. He seized power, and used it well, not wantonly. He was still a sith, but in my eyes he was a sith for the right reasons. His starting was amazing. And he is easily one of my favorite sith. He represented what the Darkside is.
I agree with all that you said about Bane but he is in my list of favorite Sith Lords but not at #1 because Ajunta Pall is my favorite Sith Lords.

Same here, Would you call Mace Windu a grey jedi? Would you call Count Dooku a grey Sith?
Well it's hard to define a "grey" Jedi. I suppose it would be a Jedi willing to do whatever may be necessary to get the job done no matter how immoral it might be. I'm not sure if Mace Windu would be considered a Grey Jedi though. I mean, he never did anything morally questionable.
And just because a Sith has a few good qualities doesn't mean he's any less a Sith really. Besides, it's not like Count Dooku had any good qualities that I can think of. Come to think of it, is a "grey" Sith even a thing? A bad guy who slaughters innocents but pets puppies isn't any less a bad guy if you catch my drift.

I agree to a degree. I think Grey Jedi open themselves up to both sides of the Force. Less do to with politics and drama of the Jedi, but nothing to do the the morals of the Sith.
So a grey jedi to me can use both lightside and Darkside Force powers so in that thinking Luke Skywalker would be a grey jedi. The reason I say that is because he is on the lightside but in Return of the Jedi he clearly uses Force Choke on one of the pig guards in Jaba's palace.

Well I don't think Luke Skywalker can be called a grey Jedi because there was no Jedi Academy at the time. And later when he created his own Jedi Academy he changed some of the Jedi codes. By that time the term Grey Jedi has disappeared.

True, but even without a Jedi Academy, the Jedi Code still exists. It acts as a form of guidelines and regulations for all Jedi so I'm pretty sure Obi-Wan or Yoda mentioned it at some point during his training. If Luke did not strictly stick to the Code (which he didn't) then he is technically considered a grey Jedi.

It was never confirmed that Luke used Force Choke. It is assumed, though it looks like it. Maybe he was just putting the gamorrean to sleep. There are force powers like that. Though Luke was a Jedi Knight, he strayed between dark and light, without ever using defining Jedi or Sith Powers. Then later after the Empire was over thrown he created the Jedi Order in his own image.
True and Starr my pick for a grey sith would be dooku because he used Force Lightning like the Emperor but unlike the Emperor Dooku only had Lightning coming out of 1 hand. They said the reason was because he never fully fell to the Darkside.

Count Dooku was my favorite Sith beside Revan Too bad he died...

Malak was an ass, granted, but that was kind of Revan's fault. I mean, he did lead Malak to the darkside. And the poor guy was always stuck in Revan's shadow. Can't blame him for trying to get the upper hand on the dude who made his life miserable...
