So far Black Flag is really fun and I like it and as soon as I get done with Black Flag I will get AC Rogue because that game you turn on your assassin brothers and sisters and hunt and kill them or that is what the trailers for the game says you do.
So far I have completed 29% of the game and it is fun but hard at points in the game. Hunting is part of the game as it was in AC III but you also get to go whale and shark hunting with harpoons which is really fun but hard at first to get the hang of. I will keep posting as I get further into the game BUT I will not give away any main plots so if you have not played it I will not spoil it for you.
I have made it to 44% of game completion and so far in it is really fun but fair warning if you take on a fort make sure you have your ship combat skills down and have your ship hull and weapons upgraded to at least 55% or better or you will have your hands full. Also there is a lot of things that you get to do outside the Animus which ties in all the other games of AC too. So far I give this game a 9/10 just because I dislike the diving in the bell. I will give my final thoughts on this game when I complete it.
I finally beat AC IV Black Flag and I give it a total score of 8.5/10 just because some of the missions did not live up to what you think and that gaining money in the game is a lot harder then in past games.
I skipped revaluation and gave up on #3 I felt like the added crafting system was really stupid, however unity and rogue look badass
Black Flag has the crafting system too but it is a lot easier to craft things then it was in AC III. In Black Flag really you are not a real assassin but you over time become a what I would call a hang around assassin in training. In past AC games the gameplay was made around land and cities where in Black Flag you spend most of the game on your pirate ship fighting and exploring the world. Your main missions may start on land but a lot of them move to the waters and your pirate ship is a big part of the game so it is very important to upgrade your armor of the ship and weapons. One thing I do miss in Black Flag is that you do not have throwing knives like you do in early AC games but you do get a blow dart gun which does come in handy in parts of the game.
Looking for the buried treasure chests are the worst thing in this game because you have to have the map of the location before you can dig the chest up. That means you can already be in a spot where buried treasure is located but with out that map you can not dig it up. Also to fully upgrade your ship after you have spent all the money and resources you have to find all the buried treasure chest because along with money in them are also elite upgrades for your ship. Also if you ship is not fully upgraded then stay the F away from the Legendary Ships that are found in each corner of your map. There is no way to defeat these ships unless your ship is fully upgraded.
It sounds like swinging to an enemy ship to slaughter them is better than jumping down from trees on unsuspecting colonists.
True but it does get old fast but with the ship battles in Black Flag makes it up to you to have to find the buried treasure chests to fully upgrade your ship.

Yeah it is a fun part of the game and I can not wait to play AC Rogue now.
Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag has a very low replay value and I give the game a over all 4/10. The characters in the game as awesome and they really did a great job on them but right from the beginning of the game the back story for your main character I found weak and lacking the punch and you really notice that if you have played past games from the AC games. They also moved the bulk of the missions and gameplay to sea and away from land but even the land missions started to feel like missions that you have already done in prevision AC games.

I tried to play through AC Black Flag for a second time but I got sick of the game before the first mission. I have found that they have got away from what made Assassin's Creed great. They moved you from the great gameplay in cities and towns to spending most of the game on a pirate ship and small shanty wholes in the wall with nothing to do. I have found that the early AC games are much more fun and you have a wide range of things to do then they give you in the AC III and AC IV.
I have not played the Newer game Assassin's Creed: Rogue yet but once I do I will start a new topic and post what I think without spoiling the game for whoever wants to play it.
