Re: Dragon Age: 1&2
I agree and I like how in DA 2 the Rogue has the back stabber move where he/she teleports behind the enemy and deals out even more damage then the rogue does with a front attack.

I like that too. But it's kinda ridiculous especially if you choose the Duelist specialization than you can do that across the entire map. xD So unreal...
That is pretty cool and it shocked me the first time I used it but it comes in handy a lot.
I just did my first play through as a Mage, and am working on my second play through as a Rogue. I like it so far.
I also just got done with my first play through as a Rogue and for my second play through I am going to play as a Warrior and then finish it up with the Mage.
Gonna play my Warrior as a female. See the different dynamic that it throws.
How was playing as a Mage? Was it harder playing as a Mage then the other classes or easier?
Well there were just so many specs of magic that I wanted to do, but it was pretty easy imo, not overly hard, Rogue is much faster in dps though.
Rogue is overpowered. But I hate playing as mage because then your sister Bethany dies at the beginning. I don't like Carver.
Cool, I know the Rogue plays more fast paced during fighting but I found out with the Warrior's fighting style is more slower then the Rogue. After I finish my second play through as a Warrior I will play as a Mage.
I like DA 2 better then DA 1 gameplay but I like DA 1 over DA 2 for the storyline.
Are they making a Dragon Age 3 game?
Are they making a Dragon Age 3 game?
Dragon Age: Inquisition?
Also you guys are a bad influence on me... I have now wasted far too much time of my life on DA 1 & 2.
That time was not wasted! It was wisely used
I agree with George because there is no wasting time on DA 1 or DA 2 but I have wasted my time on a lot of games before. For example Mass Effect 3 because the game was awesome throughout until you got to the end and it sucked.
Also, I like to say to both of you Welcome Back because I have been on this site everyday by myself and it is great to have others to talk to.
Admittedly the games are really good , or at least I'm hoping that I'll start to appreciate DA2, because so far I'm not liking it that much, and I'm not sure why.
Maybe it's the complete faff I had about trying to get the game to play without being über slow-mo due to graphics or something, or that DA1 was so awesome or whatever. Or maybe it just takes a while to get going and I'm just inpatient...
One thing about DA2 is that I can never decide whether or not to upgrade current abilities or to get new ones...

DA1 is better then DA2 in almost every aspect. But you should finish it if for no other reason but so you can import your save when DA3 comes out
Btw, Jester... Have you heard anything from Starr, recently?

DA2 is slower, but I think overall it is entirely different from DA1. DA1 was an adventure game where you go save the world. DA2 is a political game, far more dangerous, and rather interesting.

I disagree with this statement so much.
I like the traveling in DA 2 better then in DA 1 and I really like in DA 2 if a enemy has a bow shooting at you can hide behind a tree or rock or whatever and he can not hit you unlike in DA 1 where you can not hide from the archers.
George, I know Starr is busy with college and I have sent her a few messages but I have not heard back from here yet but the last time she said that she was having trouble with her internet so that could be the reason she has not been on here.

Having finished the game once I now realise this. I think I was being too impatient through Act 1. I enjoyed Acts 2 & 3 much more, but I think I might've started to realise what to expect then.
Also, I've noticed that a large percentage of people in DA2 have a habit of turning on me in some way. It's really demoralising.
I still prefer DA1, but I rather like DA2 as well now.
I have started my second play through of DA 1 as a Rogue and my second play through of DA 2 as a Warrior. So far I like playing as a Rogue but only time will tell if I will like playing with the Warrior and Mage the same as the Rogue.
