Del Ray books announced that Drew Karpyshyn will be authoring a new Star Wars novel titled "Revan". This book will reveal what happened to Revan after the end of the first KOTOR game!

Finally we will get some answers because they are never going to make KOTOR 3.
I think they ought to turn it into a series of books instead of just one. Not a real long series, but 3 or 4 books.
That would be the best thing because to tell the whole story and to add depth you need to spread it out into 3 to 4 books and not just cram it all into 1 book like most writers do.
Agreed. It would also be best I think to have the same author write all of the books, like Timothy Zahne did with the Thrawn trilogy.
Yeah because when you have different writters writting each book it would seem off because each writter has their own style.
Yes, and some authors just aren't as good as others. Or they focus too much on one aspect of the characters and you don't get a well rounded story. In the Fate of the Jedi series, Book 1 Outcast by Aaron Allston is very different than Book 2 Omen by Christie Golden. It gets harder to read when you switch up authors I think.
I agree with that and sometimes the action is lacking from book to book.
Yes. I don't like the whole "switching author's" practice. It may help with getting the books out faster, but it doesn't feel right reading it.
Really. Author's have different writing styles and it freaks the reader out sometimes. I'm glad Traviss is the only author who did the commando books. I think she's the only one who could have managed to pull all that off.
I'm glad to see them finally revealing what happened the Revan. They better make it extremely EPIC or risk disappointing so many fans. Seriously.... This will definitely have some affect on the series fan-media. Whether fans decided to work around the new canon plot or continue with their own ideas as to what happened to Revan remains to be seen.

That is what I was thinking, Why a green saber and not red?
If you really just sit down and think about it for a minute it makes perfect, logical sense actually. Taking everything that's happened regarding the KotOR series into account, Revan never truly admitted to falling to the darkside. We all know he did but to Revan he viewed it more as the "necessary sacrifice to save the Republic." So if Revan still believed he was a Jedi why would he wield a red lightsaber when that is kinda like the trademark of the Sith? Exactly. He'd stick to his Jedi color, which in this case happens to be green.
