It is good he is dead but it took 10 years to find and kill him and that is alittle to long. I mean I am happy but the dude is 6'6", has his own army and a camrea crew that followed him everywhere he went and it still took 10 years to find him.

But he is also a master of Guerrilla Warfare; they were saying he only had one person who knew where he was most of the time. And the mountains of Afghanistan and Pakistan are really rugged and you can hide in a lot of places.
Props to the CIA and Navy Seals and everyone else who found Osama and brought him down.

I think they knew where he was for a long time and before they could act the war with Iraq broke out and they put killing Osama on the back burner until we took Iraq.

True but who ever shot him and the unit with him can never talk about it because you know that mission is classifed.

Ah, now hell no. You're talking about the leader of a terrorist group which is deadset on killing as many Americans as possible. Trust me. We were trying to find his ass. But hiding in plain site is always the best place. Sure it took us ten years but we found him didn't we? He's dead isn't he? Yeah. I'd say our job is done here.

Apparently they found his courier about a year or so ago, and have been trying to pin down the location for that long.
What I want to know is how much Pakistan knew about him. I can completely understand why no one told them we were going in; little squealers would probably have had the place deserted by the time we got there.
