Re: 2 YEARS ON THE SITE!!!!!!!!
I agree because you make 100 movies and maybe 2 of them would be worth buying.

Any new ones I should look out for ?
There are a few movies that are comming out that I think will be good and they are Thor, The Green Lantern and Fast Five.
Captain America and Pirates of the Caribbean 4 are also coming out this year. Along with Transformers 3, X-men: First Class (which looks really good), and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.
hopefully they live up to our expectations
There is also Scream 4 coming out too that I can't wait to see.
i don't care much for that series of movies.
I can't wait to see the Hunger Games and the Hobbit next year!
Hobbit? Is that LOTR movie?
yeah what movie is he talking about?
Not sure but if it has the name of Hobbit then it has to be a LOTR movie.
Yeah, it's the LOTR prequel. Well, actually Tolkien wrote the book The Hobbit long before LOTR, but they made the movie for that series first. Now Peter Jackson and the LOTR crew are making the Hobbit into a film. It'll be in two parts, one next year, one the year following.
A lot of the original cast is returning, and the new people are really great, so it's going to be epic!
Oh, and I went to an extras casting call for the Hunger Games, so I might get to be on set for it!!!
We'll see.
oh thats sick, hope you get that opportunity
I hope you get to do that too LSM and I believe I will not watch that hobbit movie because I hated the LOTR movies because all 3 movies was nothing but watching the hobbits walking to a volcano and even the trees walked in those movies too.

Actually, The Hobbit was already made into a movie a long time ago. A children's cartoon but nonetheless a full length movie. The LotR people are merely making it real life action now. Cause that's always better. lol And with all the new graphic stuff we've got these days it is indeed going to be epic.

What is it with everyone doing movies in two parts now man?! The new Twilight movie Breaking Dawn is going to be in two parts and now the new LotR movie? Seriously... Harry Potter copy cats? What's up with that? Avatar was not in two parts and it was a long ass movie. Then again two movies means more money...
If only people really understood how much they're getting ripped off with s**t like that.
That's true but it is all about money and if the make a movie into two movies then that is twice the money they will make.
Not if people sit down, think about it, and realize how much of a scam it is just to get more money. If people don't go, they don't make money. Times are rough and the economy is trash. Why not rent them on DvD for like 4 bucks then pay 12 and 16 dollars to see them in the theatre or whatever?
The last time I went to the movies was when I was 10 years old and now I just wait til the movie comes out on dvd then go rent it and if I like it I go and buy it.
When I was growing up there was only one movie theatre around that was anywhere near where we lived. And it was the best. It wouldn't show movies until they were out on DvDs but they only charged like two dollars for admission. They hoped to make all their real money off selling popcorn and stuff which we never did buy. lol
My mom would take her big purse and sneak us in sodas and candies that we bought for a dollar at the corner store. Damn I miss being a kid sometimes.
I'm not sure what the logic is behind doing two parts. I think that if they went straight from the book, it wouldn't be that long. But I know they want to add some stuff to it. I'm not sure where they are going to break the story tho. I haven't really seen a good stopping point or cliff hanger midway. However the decision to make it in two parts was made years ago when they first started talking about doing this film.
(Trivia: did you know that the first company Peter Jackson went to with the LOTR idea wanted him to put all 3 books into one 2 hour film?! Seriously, did they even know the story?!)
I did see that cartoon. They also did cartoons for LotR and Return of the King. Not terrible, but not great either.
