yup. it's not pleasant to hear. we had to burn the horns off of the baby goats before they grew out, that way they wouldn't get their heads stuck in the fence (the horns were just little buttons at this point). Talk about a sickening cry.......ugh. not fun

yes, but it's good for them in the long run. gettin their heads stuck like that means they're very vulnerable, particularly if there are wild dogs or coyotes around.

not us, fortunately. but a friend of mine who had a lot of goats did lose a few that way. but no, they stayed away from us. a shotgun or .22 does wonders for keeping away predators....lol
