Topic: Armed Services

For those of you still in your last years of High School, and those who are still fairly young (20-3?), is anybody considering joining a branch of the armed services?

Personally, I plan on joining either the Marines, the Air Force, or the Army ROTC. All U.S. of course.

I would join after this conflict has settled down. The situation is a bit out of control right now.

Do not fear death. Death is all around us. If we show fear it jumps at us faster than lighting, but, if we do not show fear, it casts it's eye upon us gently and guides us slowly into infinity.

Agreed. If you were to join the army right now you might be sent to Iran, and that won't be too good. Quite a lot of troops have died from Iraq's people.

Plan on being over there a long time. I don't think this is going to end any time soon. But just Sith speculation of course.

Well Im thinking of joining the Air force in the Uk, hopefully to be a pilot. If not Ill be a navigator. The war doesnt really bother me. Your safe nowhere anymore. Look at all the bombings recently around the world.

There will always be Sith, as long as the Jedi remain.
When there is peace, prepare for war.

Matar is right. You really aren't safe anywhere. And the war doesn't bother me either. Being of Sith desent, I enjoy a nice battle.
