My Interpretation: The Exile Is Revan (Page 1 of 5)

Okay, In KOTOR 1 Revan either saves the republic (lightside) or he destroys to republic (darkside). In KOTOR 2 you play as the Exile and the Exile is not Revan but the Exile did serve under Revan in both wars. The Exile lost his/her connection to the force on Malacore V. When you are on Korriban in the Sith Academy in KOTOR 2, go into the Head Master's room and their you will find a big triangle had has a hologram of Bastila taking about Revan leaving the Sith Academy. Revan left Bastila incharge and Revan went to the Unknown Region of space to stop this new enemy. You learn from the hologram of Bastila that after awhile she went in search of Revan and the Sith Academy was pretty badly damaged because everybody was fighting to be the new master over the academy. At the end of the fight with Kreia you get to choice to blow up Malacore V, stay and run the Sith Academy on the planet or you can choice to leave and go in search of Darth Revan and Bastila in the Unknown Region of space.

If you have only played both games on the lightside then I think that you should play both games on the darkside. I does not really matter that you save the republic in KOTOR 1 because when you start KOTOR 2 you find out that Darth Revan was on the darkside and the jedi are all but dead or have turned to the darkside of the force. In KOTOR 2 it does not matter if you choice the lightside or darkside because in the end when you meet the remaining jedi masters they still get killed either by you the Exile or by Kreia.

So, In the end you now know that the Exile in KOTOR 2 is not Darth Revan from KOTOR 1. Yeah, One more thing and that is that T3 your astro droid is the best droid you can have in either KOTOR 1,2.

P.S. I hope that you stay on the site and keep on posting because it is good to see new blood on this site. 

I find that the destruction caused by Revan was prior to his atonement and rebuilding after the Jedi civil war.  Regardless of what happened, during Malachor... the death of so many lead to the rip in the force.  Later he remembers that in his amnesic state and goes to fight against it.  Do you really find it impossible for Revan and the Exile to be one and the same?  Both amnesic, both have the same friends from history... Both are GOOD for the best ending .  I just wish he and Bastilla came to terms in kotor2, or that you could solidify bonds with handmaiden, or have better dialogue with atris, or turn atris down for hadnmaiden... and Mira... I didnt like Mira... sorry.  He ends with a Harem of Jedi, and each of them want to jump him and their is no solid love interest like in Kotor1, they each help you at different stages... but nothing is solidifed or permanent.

I may seem obnoxious for this remark, but as far as I am concerned... the game will always be better assuming Revan is the same main character throughout.  Once redeemed, thrice hated, and quadruple made up for his foolishness in the mandalorian wars.

Like in KOTOR 1 when you kiss Bastila and you both fall inlove with each other. In KOTOR 2 you can have s*x with Brianna BUT this is only if you are on the darkside because you will turn her to the darkside and you will get massive darkside points.

The reason that the Exile and Darth Revan both have the same friends is because they all served together in the Mandalorian War and the Jedi Civil War.
