1: The game was too short.
2: Number of party members too small to be the end of the serise.
3: Some of the game play was slow.

oh i beg to differ. the gameplay was longer than ME2 if you actually go througha all the missions to find your old squadmates.
and i disagree but can see your point. it was such a beastmode squad, i had trouble picking who i wanted with me. but sure i would have liked to have had samara back with me (but i guess thats why we had liara).

My first play through lasted around 31 Hours because I messed up and did a mission before I should have and it jumped me to disc 2 and that is why it was short to me and I never got the galaixy ready statis above 50%. This time however when I start my second play through I will take my time and make sure I play everything before I go to disc 2.

Garrus and James. All the damn time. Glad to have Kaidan back and all but James kicked ass. And Garrus is just my man. Add onto that the fact that I f**king love turians in general and yeah... makes sense. Seriously, like turians have replaced Mandalorians in my life. That's a big deal.
My first play lasted about 33 hours. Haven't got time to play it again but I plan to import my ME3 character and own ass eventually. I was rather satisfied with everything though. Except the ending... but I just won't go there. I refuse. It's... it's too soon.

I also used Garrus and James all the time because the blue chick died to much when I had to have her with me and the ship's AI was good but that copy drone kept getting into my line of fire.

I ranted in the ME3 forum. Now I'm trying to ignore the fact that Bioware actually set the ending up like that and move on with my life... at least until I get the chance to play again.

i dont know what Liara you all were playing with. shes pretty clutch in my game, even as i play on insanity.
in Mass Effect 1 (again, even on insanity), you have to know how to use her. she's a pure biotic for a reason. if you fully upgrade her singularity, it's a wrap for all the enemies in a room. that saved my life so many times. i mean ashley is my girl, but i love liara. she's a clutch player...IF...you know how to use her.
actually if there was a useless party member, it was EDI. although her incinerate was clutch a few times....but she was more trouble than she was worth.
Ashley and Garrus FTW #SnipeSquad. Shepard with the Widow, Ashley with the Javelin and Garrus with the fully upgraded Mantis. We take the dub on the reapers.

EDI could have been a lot better because I thought she would straight kickass but I was disappointed from the first fire fight I got into.
