Any race other than human would add a much different angle to the whole series.  We are all humans... and as such we can side with the Light or Dark as our experiences lend themselves to both.  Every final "enemy" in the serious was human at 1 time.  This is no accident.   Why would you want to be anything else?  The whole Jude0/Christian belief system revolves around being tempted both ways and choosing good over evil.  humans will always be more popular in the KOTOR series, they have better internal conflict.... Come on, like the woookies are stuck and ponder philosophy? NO! only humans and the Jedi/Sith based on which they fell too.  Its a very good social argument displayed in SW.

BTW, you find out Darth Revan was bad because HE WAS.  When you became amnesic you built a new life with a new name.  You were no longer darth revan, you spend KOTOR1 and KOTOR2 making the universe better.  In 1 you become a jedi, AGAIn after becoming sith, in kotor2 you become an ADVANCED jedi.  And build a new order for dantooine to work with.

I find that the destruction caused by Revan was prior to his atonement and rebuilding after the Jedi civil war.  Regardless of what happened, during Malachor... the death of so many lead to the rip in the force.  Later he remembers that in his amnesic state and goes to fight against it.  Do you really find it impossible for Revan and the Exile to be one and the same?  Both amnesic, both have the same friends from history... Both are GOOD for the best ending wink.  I just wish he and Bastilla came to terms in kotor2, or that you could solidify bonds with handmaiden, or have better dialogue with atris, or turn atris down for hadnmaiden... and Mira... I didnt like Mira... sorry.  He ends with a Harem of Jedi, and each of them want to jump him and their is no solid love interest like in Kotor1, they each help you at different stages... but nothing is solidifed or permanent.

I may seem obnoxious for this remark, but as far as I am concerned... the game will always be better assuming Revan is the same main character throughout.  Once redeemed, thrice hated, and quadruple made up for his foolishness in the mandalorian wars.

I have never gotten that dialogue, and I don't want to change my position.  To me it is better if Revan continues to improve the galaxy regardless of circumstance.  It may seem strange, but I cant play dark side... it makes me feel like crap.... cant bring myself to treat my team badly... it doesnt make the game fun for me.

Races that get no respect:

The little mouse guy on Nar Shadaa that gives you info on the enterainment promenade (Also helps with accessing the transponder code thing for your ship)

The Bith- Who cares, they are crap.

Ithorians - I really got tired of that dialogue sound as it seemed to be all the same no matter the conversation

Twileks- I dont like them, not sure why....

Huts-  No huts will ever be Jedi... lol Seriously, who wants their Jedi to be a hut!?  You Have used the power "Force Pudge!"

Sand people- Need I say more...

The humanoids are going to dominate no matter what, especially because they killed off the miraluka in Kotor II, still... they are humanoids.

Mandalorians seem to be humans too, aside from their philosophy I am not sure what makes them distinct... I am not very star wars savvy.

Ewoks... a Jedi Ewok? I dont think so...

Jedi= Wookie, I just dont see it.

I guess just my 2 cents that I can recall right now.  Rodians... they s**k as well.

BTW: AS the Jedi Council was destroyed, I assume regardless of Kreia's end dialogue that Revan/Exile rebuilds the Jedi with the party members he converted.

I have played both KOTOR1 and 2 through 3 times each, and have never really read or looked up their discussions online...  I chose the same portrait and what have you in KOTOR2 as I used in KOTOR1, and then there is the Carth and Bastila dialogues....

Here is what I thought happened:

Revan+Malak fight in the mandalorian wars, p**s off the counsel... Star Forge it and become Dark= Jedi Civil War.  Malak amnesia's Revan by accident trying to kill all of his enemies at once, and Revan goes good and saves the galaxy and falls in love with Bastila and all that jazz.  As his memories return, he remembers an evil that consumes the force on the outer rim... there was some mention of this creature in KOTOR1, and the jedi tried to exterminate them as I recall... Before he takes off to fight this evil he remembers, He goes back to the Jedi Counsel after saving the republic and they cast him out for being too powerful... and so he treads alone to defeat this thing on the outer rim... Amnesia again, and Kreia tries to bring back Revan(Exile) to end the force... Damned concussions.  and once again he saves the galaxy.  I might get flamed for this as I am not a big star wars fan, I just loved these RPGs... I Havent read any starwars books or anything.   Anyone else have thoughts on this?  (Carth and bastilla keep doing the "Does he Know?" talk, plus the droid and all that jazz)
