Read a few fanfics... you'll get a pretty good idea.
My personal favorite: For The Republic: Part 12
This is the chapter where Malak looses his jaw. Might be better to read from Part 1 to get a better understanding of the characters and the storyline. (Please note PG-13 rating... not for children under 13 )

Background: Born on Ord Mantell to a bounty hunteress. Because she was both Corellian and Hapan she had extremely good day and night vision.
History: Joined the Jedi at age six. Became the best friend of Female Revan. Followed Revan into the Mandalorian Wars. Was Revan's right hand woman. Was almost killed when Malak fired upon Revan's cruiser. Memory was erased and she was sent to help the Jedi on the Outer Rim. The ship she was traveling on crashed on Kashyyyk. Lived with Jolee Bindo until redeemed Revan visited the planet. Joined redeemed Revan's party. Learned her true identity on the Leviathan. When Revan left for the Unknown she headed to Dxun with Canderous Ordo. Married Canderous Ordo. Years later she joined the party of the Female Jedi Exile and traveled with her until Malachor V. At Malachor V she disappeared along with Canderous. Years later when Revan returned into Known Space she and Canderous were found accompaning Revan. Was killed by the Force Ghost of Darth Kreia. Her Force Ghost was later found by Luke Skywalker and Master Yoda in a energy cave on Dagobah. The two Jedi used the Force and revived her. She then joined the Rebel Forces as a Jedi Knight and helped defeat the Empire.
