dude really? he was definitely a good combat specialist bro. and his inability to use some force powers (and any jedi robes) strengthened his combat abilities.

----We were on route to our first planet when we intercepted the transmission. And btw, I'm gonna kinda steal your method of writing. Mine is too much of a noobish throwback....-----

John looks at Sarai somewhat favorably. "Never have I seen such an...attractive....Cathar. After all...you people aren't really known for looks." He then immediately dismisses her by looking away. "And do please try not to blow up your ordinance on my ship. We kinda need it for our mission. This is my order to you in exchange for you keeping confidential the contents of said ordinance. We have a deal?" John pauses a moment but not before the Raiders actually have a chance to answer. "Great! I knew you'd come around. We're making great progress already. Now.... I've got to report back to the CIC for our first destination. I suppose as a proper greeting, I should offer a 'welcome aboard'. So.....welcome aboard." John says his last words rather sarcastically, rolls his eyes and starts back to the bridge when suddenly the pilot comes over the intercom.

"Bridge to Major Antilles"

"I'm here, Jak."

"You better get up here, sir, stat."

"What is it?"

"Unidentified transmission from an unregistered freighter. Doesn't match any known signatures. Doesn't sound....human....either."

John thinks for a rather long moment.

"Sir?"

"Dock with it. Set the ship to high alert. Reroute runoff power to front and port deflector shields just in case this thing blows. I'll take a small team--" John looks at the Black Raiders--" and do an inspection while looking for any survivors."

"Bio-signs only show one thermal signature. It's registering as...human...but not really."

"We'll handle it." John says still looking at the Raiders and Jak as if to signify he's talking to both parties. "Just be ready."

"Yes sir. See you in a bit."

John closes the intercom, turning his full attention back to the Black Raiders. "Well....looks like we've got our first action of the day...a small team would work better as opposed to a strike team. Three of us should suffice. Which one of you lucky winners wanna scout out a ghost ship with me?"

John: Glad to hear it. I need one too. Ensign, care to give the guest and myself a tour of the ship?

Ensign Kato (human): Not at all, sir. *looks at Soren disgustedly for a moment then begins walking* This is the Combat Information Center, where most of the crew works their shifts and the commanding officer issues real-time orders during combat.

*continues walking toward the bridge*

an extension of the CIC, the bridge contains our navigator *looks at Executive Officer and Navigator Hogstren (human)* and pilots helm the ship. The ship's newly installed artificial intelligence also helps navigate and pilot during emergency countermeasures. We call her ARIA: Advanced Recon and Intelligence Android.

*a virtual image in the form of a rather attractive female appears in front of Soren*

Aria: Hello, Soren*winks*

Kato: Enough, Aria.

Aria: Very well....*disappears*

Kato: The armory and tech labs are on the port and starboard sides of this deck, respectively.

*The three go down to the crew deck*

This is the Crew Deck, where you *looks at Soren disgustedly again* will sleep with the rest of your crew in your privately reserved dorm, away from the rest of the crew. On the interior port and starboard sides are the first lieutenant's office, and the medical bay. Behind the medbay is the AI core room.

Aria: *glaring at Soren* Only the ones I love are allowed in my heart.

Kato: She tries so hard, Major.... The starboard exterior contains 5 hidden orbital cannons used in case of immediate bombardment of a planet, moon, or base.

*throughout the walk, most of the crew looks at Soren with the same disgusted or untrusting expressions*

Towards the superior part of the ship in the main battery, where the twin laser and torpedo cannons and newly installed Thax cannon is stored. The twin lasers are used for quick strikes while the Thax is used for more lengthy cruiser-versus-cruiser space battles, and hitting an enemy from a distance, when the option is available.

Aria: I determine whether or not the option is available for either case.

Kato: Indeed you do, Aria.

*They next go down to engineering*

Kato: This is the engineering deck, where the faster-than-light drive core is located. Also housed are the port and starboard observation rooms, cargo holds, and garage, where the shuttle is kept for planetside operations. And that concludes the tour.

Oh and if you're wondering about the first deck, that is the commanding officer's private quarters. No one is allowed without permission. If you do try and sneak up there, you will be treated as a highest priority threat, labeled as a potential assassin and be dealt with accordingly. In short: it's off limits to everyone except the Captain--Major in this case--and invited guests. Now if you'll excuse me gentlemen, the CIC needs me. *salutes John and walks off*

Roderick: I guess it's all out there now...there you have it, son.

*John huffs in contempt*: *silently under his breath* if anyone should be worried about being blindsided by someone else, clearly it's us by them.

*aloud* well they talk a good game...we'll see how they walk it. I'm out.

*John salutes his superiors and leaves for the Horizon*

John *to Black Raiders*: I suppose you want to a tour?
