All that stuff won't keep you from trippin in the dark. Lol
See the light my friend. Join the light, and fight for the freedom of the galaxy. Don't believe the lies of the Dark Side. It promises power, but in the end it only uses you and will slay you or cast you aside when you are no longer useful to it. The power of Light will always over come the power of Dark.
Lol, well, HK-47 would probably agree with you! Although I'm sure he would be embarrassed by the lame excuse of a battle droid army from Phantom Menace
Nice. I like how you can death field the dead Jedi in the Star Forge and get back all your force points!
Good point. At least give a little background info on the character before you dive into the game, and how about starting right at the outset of a full scall Sith assault on Kashyyk or Dantooine.
why thank you
Agreed. There are some that end but don't end. Like you see Mira wandering around on Malachor V (lightside) and she kicks the crap outta that sick wookie, but then you never she her again. So like, did she get back to the Ebon Hawk, did she follow the Exile,.........?! And what's with Visas?! she was possibly my favorite character and she asks to she you through the force and then you never get another word outta her?!
Revan would make mince meat outta the Exile. Then he would bash Sion to pieces and kick his carcass out of the airlock into space where he would be transformed into dozens of darkside snowflakes..............:D
I just joined a few days ago, but I read some of the earlier topics here about some of the problems going on. That was a few months ago. What's the situation now, and is there anything that we plebians (lol) can do to help?
The ending was really a let down for this game. A lot of Lucas Arts games are like that. It's like the writers are trying to figure out how to make the most disappointing games ever. I think the only ones that really nailed the endings were SW KOTOR I and SW Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. Republic Commando was the worst by far of any game I've played. You play through the whole game with this squad, then have to leave Sev behind to the mercy of the droids just cause Yoda wants you to do his grunt work for him?! Give me a break! but I digress........
KOTOR II was disappointing because all it did was show the ship leaving. I can get the whole going to find Revan thing. That was fine. But you didn't get to close out the story with the other characters like you did in KOTOR I. Even if you had to leave them behind to follow Revan, at least give the gamers a chance to end it their way!!!! that was my big problem with the ending (that and none of the character relationships reached a real conclusion!).
The really funny thing about this one is when you come out with the sword and meet the other Sith student, you can give him the wrong freakin sword and he doesn't have any idea that it ain't the right one. He takes the thing to the Sith Master, Uther I think, and gets schooled! poor guy doesn't know how to take Jedi.
Well, Juhani wasn't exactly a knock out in the game either.............but good job with her.
Left to myself, I'd be red or grey at best. Thank God I am now blue.
Um, just a random thought............how can a droid be darkside? i always kinda figured that dark/light was limited to organics.
Do you guys ever actually say anything that doesn't end in a string of emoticons?! .......lol, it's hilarious to see.
gotta go with dual silvers, even though they don't show up in the films. The blue vs. red looks the best on screen. but silver is the coolest in the game. I could definately see a black lightsaber for a Sith Lord though. Maybe I should use that in some of my fan art..........hmmmm.............
I like old school stuff. Last of the Mohicans, Three Musketeers (way better than the sappy Disney movie), Count of Monte Cristo, Les Miserables, To Have and To Hold, LOTR, Men of Iron (that could make an incredible film if someone did it right!), G. A. Henty stuff.........
The Jedi Academy was also one of my favorites. It didn't have as many options in the story line as the rpgs do, but it was really fun to hack your way through storm troopers and Sith. haha, i remember this one part in the game where I fired a missile at a Sith, and he force pushed it back at me. He and I pushed this thing back and forth for like two minutes straight! hilarious! I think i finally had to jump out of the way to continue the game
I get the feeling that the local governments wouldn't really like that a whole lot. But then, as a force user, it wouldn't really matter what they thought. Could a Sith take on a whole planet and win? hmmmm......
That would be an interesting scenario. I'd have to say that the Sith and the Mandalorians would be tought to beat, simply because of their sheer numbers. The Jedi might have a chance, depending on who they could get as allies; the Exchange is too disjointed and lack the organization for a full scale war; the Wookies might present a challege, those are some fightin fools there! But other than that, no one else has the real unity and strength to take on the Sith and Mandalorians. What would make it interesting if you wanted to play as a bounty hunter or other rogue group would be to infiltrate each group and take them down from the inside.
Just kindof a random question, but what was the first Star Wars video game you ever played?
And of the ones that you've played since then, rpgs, first person shooter, action, strategy, flight sim, etc., what one is your favorite? (Note: not which one do you think has the best graphics, but which one can you play over and over and over again without getting sick of it?)
I know, it's weird. You can be on the lightside in all the games and still use Dark Side powers without being effected. You'd think that they'd put in some kinda thing where if you keep using those powers it would take away lightside points. But oh well, glad that didn't happen, otherwise I'd lose light side mastery and that constitution bonus. lol
