there are actually two different versions. the ones that follow the books are good, but the ones that follow the movies have better graphics, bigger and better worlds, and more battle options. EA did a good job with those games.................and the stories end well, even in the side stories like Third Age.
Lucas Arts hasn't ended a game right yet, in my opinion; although their games are, in every other respect, top notch. <_< 
too bad it's so hard not to do sometimes........once that stuff gets in your head, it's hard not to let it fly, especially since sometimes it just seems to fit the situation, but is really not appropriate.............. <_<

haha, very true. those things were built to last tho! i have a friend whose PS2 only lasted like 3 or 4 years, and my Nintendo was older than me! haha
