I might have an idea. Update the game to the latest version you can google. Afterwards, go through the entire KotOR folder, and set every thing in the folder, (and sub-folders) to run w/ windows service pack 2, or windows 2000. You might want to try windows 2000 first. Also, don't mix the two compatibilities. If that doesn

I didn't know about that, I thought the where lost to the basements, and trash compactors of the world. I found this one and a bunch of games in my uncle's basement. Also, an old telescope for when han-solo comes home. smile

Please vote and tell me if you had a problem w/ Vista & KotOR 1 or 2.
If you have had a problem, please post what it was.
Thank you,

Thank you, I try to keep up with the times of tech. That being said, I will play the Atari win I get some time off. If you want a good adventure game, try Adventure (stupid red dragon.)

It's because your intel centrino duo, it just won't run KotOR games without a fight.
Try google-ing up some patches, and if you can't find one well, that's that. Sorry. sad

Agreed, downloading mods with you computer is awesome. Plus if your hit <windows><M> your walkthrough is right there, you don't have to keep up with so many papers. smile

Do try the brightness adjustment at your own risk. No pun intended but it's kinda a shot in the dark. But it might work on some computers, I suppose.

I might have suggestion. After trying what Slik Sandur said, Search through the entire KotOR_2 folder and set everything possible to run with windows 2000, even the files in the sub folders. If that doesn't work, than well, I got nothing.

You may want to turn your graphics down, if you haven't already; I suppose. I also guess you could also turn down the brightness, I don't know about vista, but it worked on my XP, so what could it hurt? yikes

Will do.

I don't think it would be a good idea to bring back the star forge. Although, I think it would be neat if there was second mechanism that did something different, but was made by the same people. There

I think battlefront 2 had a better story (I guess because it had one.) But as an over-all thing, battlefront 1 takes the cake with little effort.

The Ebon Hawk is Davik Kang's flagship, and a KotOR semi-tradition.

You won't get rid of me that easily. Besides, I don't have much more to do. <_<

I voted for Dantooine, KotOR_1 version, lots of quest.
