Yes which is why kotor 1 was good. It was an RPG, meaning you play a role in the game and it changes to whatever path you choose.
Obsidian must not have been too fussed about not finishing the game, cause if I'd have spent that long making a game, and needed only a few months to get it perfect. Believe me I would moan like mad.

I guess to you it makes it more exciting. But if I play a RPG game I expect to be able to play a role thats different every time, and judging by kotor 1's standards, the ending was poor.
