Sigh.
It is a Japanese Anime\Manga, and four games, in witch the main character is Dante, half-demon and son of the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda. The anime show has around 12 episodes, and I haven't read the manga, but I played teh 3rd and the 4th game, and they're awsome. Lot's of blood, gore and violence. Try watching it on YouTube.
