OK. Thats my idea for a new charecter. He is a starting young desert hunter in planet of tatoiine. Hes wife is sick and he must get some money from hunting to be able to take care of her. There woud be a quest where the player must find rare herbs from the desert and take them to Jex. When the quest is completed Jex joins your group. Jex is able to control beasts with hes own methods. Also Jex is  good in using blaster weapons.

SOLIDER because that class gets feat in every level up. After i get in academy i take jedi consular because with solider i take the usefull feats. And because jedi consular have slow feat prosessing its good to take solider first.

so i say SOLIDER wink
